And if revenue from tickets make up 25% of total, why are so many saying it's an insignificant amount and we could afford to let fans in for nothing?

After the BT deal it was reported clubs could let fans in for free and still be better off than previous year. With all the huge TV money coming into the game its just going into players wages now a new threat is emerging with china so football could simply be an escalation of wages to insane levels. Thats bad for football and bad for the fans clubs cold have used the BT money to lower ticket prices which were already at statosheric levels. I know you could not care less but in the real world people are struggling. Were it not for fans you would have no football to watch on your TV or laptop. Try to think of others for once.

Give it a rest with that shitte you idiot! I've never said I don't care and I'm hardly on the wage of an accountant either! I don't know where you get off with this fukking moral high ground you take all the fukking time? I don't know who you're trying to kid but give it a fukking rest!

Back to the topic, you say we could be better off with the TV money and letting people in for free yet you highlight the rising cost of players fees and wages in the same breath. Maybe you need to ask what is best for everyone not just cheap tickets for you. If we want to compete on the pitch we need to compete off it and maybe, just maybe that means some prices going up somewhere? Then you've also mentioned the Chinese throwing money around. Seems like you want your Sarah Lee and to eat it?

I think there needs to be a cross club agreement to cap players wages if they go to china so be it. Otherwise you are faced with an escalating situation that will ultimately destroy British football. I would rather have a sport than a Harlem globe trotters situation in UK football which is where it will go.

I don't disagree but as you say it has to be cross club and I just don't see everyone going for it. Then you have to try and appease the fans as I'm sure the majority want to see the worlds best playing over here which they wouldn't if that happened.

I have not got all the answers but something has to be done simply allowing an open ended wage spiral will be the end if football it's not just Liverpool fans although Liverpool are one of the worst offenders I think are actually higher than Man united now. Despite recent regeneration Liverpool is still one of the poorest cities in the UK.

Didn't hear about any project to cap players wages and I don't even think this will be possible withing Europe as the players representatives will take it to the court. This would be like a cartel made by clubs against the interest of the players.

If LFC supporters and owners are not wealthy enough, then nobody will be able to fight the inevitable of us becoming a club in line with our wealth. We will be behind the wealthier clubs.

That said, if there are fans who can pay more but cannot have the possibility of buying season tickets which are blocked by fans who cannot pay more, I think that would be wrong and selfish. Why shouldn't a wealthier fan than you be given the possibility of acquiring your ticket.
