A lot of ignorant critisim of moores here I am not a fan of his but he built three stands three not putting a poxy extra layer on one as FSG. He also invested in top players like collymore Saunders and others these were the top talents at the time. He put huge amounts of his own money on ok he got it back but he was not to know that when he paid it out over many years. He also enjoyed football and was a huge fan of Liverpool FC never missed a game home or away and mixed with the fans. Like I say not his biggest fan but get your facts right

I feel like crying when I see where we are today and all FSG and Ayre bang on about is how much profit we have made and how healthy the club is, rather be mid table and run with morals than top of the league with none...

I really wish the Henry & Werner apologists would think rather than blindly supporting them.
If your owners can't even be bothered to watch the games then you can bet your bottom dollar that they are not fussed if we lose or win either.
As far as I can see all FSG have done is cost cut the club to huge extent.
Our big earners let go Reina, Agger, Johnson, Joe Cole, Gerrard, Suarez, Kuyt, Carragher, the list goes out on.
Replaced by players on literally peanuts, and it is true you pay peanuts and you get monkeys - no offence to Lambert, Caulker, and the rest of our championship signings.
The FSG apologists constantly harp on about them saving us and how no one else wanted to own the truth.
Reality check, if the club went on the market today we would get countless offers from people who could take us further than Hicks and Werner oooops wrong way round Henry and Gillett.
Either way once you fall for the old FSG PR charm and the Linda effect you are well and truly lost.

The only one of those worth keeping at the time they left was Reina. Can't put Suarez in that group as he wanted to go and we got top dollar for him and it was ALL re-invested. And I can't recall seeing anyone on here being and apologist for them. All this because we might not buy Texeaira, a player you had probably never heard of before last week!

I'm no apologist for FSG I can look at the good and the bad objectively. I certainly wouldn't call myself a fan of FSG's performance since they have been here. But I genuinely don't think we have sold 1 player since they came to make a profit. To say Caulker or Lambert were signed as replacements for the players you named is laughable. They were signed as back up squad players. All of the players you named left because they weren't performing well enough or weren't getting a game ,eg. Reina, Agger, Johnson and Joe Cole, or retired as in Carragher or demanded a move to better teams eg Suarez, Torres and Sterling. I don't think they have the transfer policy right but to say they are cutting costs is inaccurate. The wage bill is larger than ever and we've never spent so much as while FSG have been in charge. I think blaming cost cutting is poor excuse for wasteful spending both by the managers and by the so called transfer committee.
