And football is massively different from normal life so can't even be compared. Injuries are part of the game and I don't ever remember a player being sacked for being injured too much?
But you compared him to all other humans in your other post which is why I raised this. You can't pick and choose points to suit your argument.

And as I said, football works in a completely different way to normal life so the same rules don't apply. Look, you boys have made up your mind that he's a lazy, lying arse hole who should just fukk off. I get it. But you're wrong. That's all.

Again I haven't said any of that. Your choosing to ignore people like Klopp and Gerrard who know exactly whats going on where as we fans don't, we can only speculate. There is plenty of evidence from them to suggest that Sturridge needs to man up and deal with pain better.

Sorry the same rules apply in football as in life and our employment Sturridge is contractually bound to perform his contract being a human being does not give you the right to absolve your responsibilities. And we have every right as fans to ask legitimate questions because ultimately we are paying his ridiculous wages for doing nothing and disrespecting the club it's fans his employers and his colleagues who have to turn up for work human being or not

Gerrard, who needs to sell books, wrote about it but in what context was it. Did Sturridge just say he couldn't be arsed or did he feel he couldn't give his all in an important game? You even said yourself that Sturridge declared himself fit but Klopp didn't think he was. So what went on there? Suggests that he has 'maned up' in the past does it not?

And there you go again! How is he disrespecting the club? You're assuming AGAIN that he's just swinging the lead.

It suggests to me that Sturridge thinks he can decide when he wants to play but Klopp wasn't having any of it where as under Rodgers it would have been fine. You'll have to read Gerrard's book yourself to make up your own mind but it doesn't reflect well on Sturridge. You shouldn't need persuading to start for LFC at home to Man Utd. A player of his ability, even at 80-90% can make the difference.

I think he is swinging the lead there is plenty of evidence to suggest that. How long is it since he played regularly now ? There is no way Liverpool could ever think about offering him another contract. He is also not the only one who has played this game Salif diao was another I recall took the wages for years and did nothing I would call it theft
