Lallana and Firmino just seem to be running away from situations to avoid any ball contact - which is to be expected with their dreadful first touches atm.

No end product would be the judgement on all those 4 players!

None of them want to score a tap in, they all want to score the perfect goal to end a passing move or a screamer from range. So frustrating, the lack of desire to make a difference in our team is frightening. There is no one to take the game by the scruff of the neck when it's needed.

call me crazy but I think we only need 2 changes to get Benteke/Studge firing as a partnership. I know the 442 diamond is minimalist and more simplistic than the 4231 - which looks to be leading arsenal to a league title, as it did chelsea, but if we can get this right we can beat the 442 and the 4231. If you don't think Sturridge can recover and be fit for us long term, and is unreliable, then I'm down with the calls for Lacazette instead.

Not necessarily. It depends how we achieve it. there are so many teams playing poorly that we could find ourselves nicking 4th on the last day... i.e. just because we're less bad than the others at that time.

If however, we go an a good run to achieve a top 4 slot then yes, that could perhaps be considered an achievement.

At the moment it seems to be a very strange season.

I think it is extremely unlikely we will make top 4 without any signings. We have no chance of finishing above Man City, Arsenal or Spurs. The gap between the quality of players is huge. We only have 1 player that would get in Spurs team ffs.

I think top 6 would be an achievement for this team because I think there are more than 5 teams better than us player for player. Hopefully we can win a cup, top 6 and a cup would be a good start for Klopp I think.

It's a pity because we would of never of thought Chelsea would have a serious chance of slipping out of the top four this season and here we are in no position to take advantage and teams like Leicester City, Spurs, Palace, Watford and West Ham all more likely to take full advantage than us. What makes it worse is the money we spent in the summer has all been wasted again so soon after the Suarez money was squandered.
I firmly believe Liverpool Football Club will never win the English Premier League again with the footballing landscape the way it is and it seriously looks like we are going to fall from being the fifth best Club in the country to 7th or 8th when Spurs and West Ham move into there new stadiums in one and two seasons time respectively.
