he doesn't Need a striker infront of him but it would help when he's used in attack midfield and we're not using a C.A formation, as a different option. both he played with strikers ahead of him at hoffenhiem......chris if you want me to put it into plain english as I've already tried, his best position is attack midfield, as a number 10 as deli ali was used for england against france. winning the ball back, it's one of his great qualities. he can also play as a right forward, as sturridge has in the past for liverpool

I don't know what you don't understand about our gameplan fell apart and it isn't firmino's fault for our last 2 matches.

As Ninja said, he's proven over several seasons so had pedigree. Lallana and Lovren had great seasons previous but it doesn't look like they can make the step up.

It's hard knowing when to give up on a player and accept they either can't make the step up or can't adapt to the premier league. 2nd season is usually the time to judge.

I guess my point is Firmino is one of the last players on my list of priorities to replace. Lallana was from the PL and is in his second season. GK, DM, AM, CF - all priority over Firmino.

We have worryingly few 'top4' players at the moment. I bet Klopp's got huge huge changes in mind.

What on earth are you on about? If his best position is a number 10 why did he offer his best performance in a LFC shirt as a striker. Also we already have a better number 10 in Coutinho.

I trust my own judgement and think I know a fair bit about LFC so I don't appreciate you telling me I don't understand our gameplan when I'm sat in the stands watching a game. I also don't need you to put something in plain English for me.

I'm willing to give a player time to settle and adjust but that doesn't mean a player is above criticism for poor performances. If your happy with Firmino's contribution so far as a £29million footballer then fine but he's fallen massively short in my opinion and needs to seriously up his game.

Thats all good and well, but technically, he is no striker...but an AM.

Hard to say which is his best position yet. He has only had 1 good performance so far and that was up front. Most games he has gone missing or continually given the ball away whether up front or number 10. I think he needs a long spell on the bench, let him try and impress from the bench first.

I'm not saying get rid just yet, he may well come good next season, but he hasn't adapted to the league well.
