Excited about this, honestly. More excited than I have been in a Europa tie in awhile.

Good result, should have been more really but a win is a win.

I think Clyne needs to look to try and beat his man a bit more. A few times he was one on one and just played the cross which is all good but he should try mixing it up a bit.

I probably would have thrown Origi on for the last 10-15 minutes as benteke wasn't doing much at that point and there was space behind which Origi could have exploited with his pace.

Indeed. I couldn't understand why the pundits on TV denigrated Rubin so much before each of the two games, they have qualified for the Champions League quite a few times in recent years and achieved some decent results in that competition.

Only disappointment for me was Big Ben, looks lethargic and needs far more aggression.

Ha, ha, got a bit of a fright myself when I read it after posting it, I have a lazy habit of not reading over before posting, despite repeated mistakes. Anyway good result tonight if not great in the final third, Big Ben never got a pass he could go for and that's poor. However I'm delighted for young Ibe, and with a bit more composure he could have had a hat trick, he's a great talent and could be great. Now for a win against Bordeaux at home and we top the group.
