I think we are the new less successful arsenal. "less successful"?? they've only won marginally more than us in the last 10 years. With their facilities, finances and managerial stability you have to conclude that they woefully disappoint year after year. I wouldn't class consistent Champions League qualification as a disappointment, we'd love to be in that situation. From a trophy point of view though with the exception of two FA Cups in the last two seasons they haven't won as much as you'd expect. Would we? Arsenal get knocked out early every year. Participating in a competition isn't a definition of success. The only people at Arsenal who are happy are the people who benefit financially. Given the situation we have now? Absolutely. They have a vastly better squad, no problem signing players of high caliber, consistent CL, and two trophies in the past 2 years. That's a pipe dream for us, currently.

It should be headline news on Sky Sports etc when most of our players are actually fit for selection. Then again there are only 24 hours in every day. Beyond laughable.

Just looking at his record for us, he's got 3 goals in 8 appearances. When you consider a good few of those appearances have just been off the bench for at most half a game, he's pretty much maintained his record of a goal every other game. Only over a small sample, but if he keeps fit and can keep that record going, he could easily get to 20 goals this season
