Hahaha....I would give mario another chance but someone made a good point earlier, would klopp jeopardise his reputation by giving mario another go and perhaps allowing to destabilize the dressing room? I dunno. Markovic however definately deserves a go in my eyes as does Ibe. I think Ibe could really flourish under Klopp.

In his time with us, I didn't see anything from Markovic that made me think he was above Championship standard. However..........sometimes you just get a block on an individual player and cannot see what others are raving about. I mention this as I was reading some foreign transfermarkt player forums....Fenerbahce fans are generally over the moon with him and are worried that he's too good for them to keep hold of(?!?!)

Oooh, I wonder who that can be! Is his name in a sealed brown envelope?

As for Markovic, yes he got played a bit of of position but that doesn't go to excuse how utterly useless he was for us. He is supposed to be a professional footballer - sticking him 20 yards further back on the pitch should not mean that he no longer knows how to play the game. Terrible, terrible, terrible signing.

From left winger to right full back is not 'a bit out of position' and I think Klopp can definitely get much better out of Markovic. I have no hope for lazy Balotelli though.

I'd agree with that Vish. Mario is gone and I'd like to keep it that way. I can't see us prioritizing a striker when we have 3 decent ones already. One player who might benefit hugely is Ings, seems tailor made for Klopp's 'heavy metal' style.
I'd like to see Tex and Markovic given a second look.

Yeah left wing to right back is apparently just "a slight change" of position. :p

I thought his preferred position was right wing not left? If so, that's not much of a shift.

I thought he only played on the right for us but seem to remember someone saying he played on the left for Serbia?
Either way it's a big enough shift when your career so far has been as an attacking winger.
I think the problem with Marko is that he got judged on his performances as a wing back and not a winger.

Can't argue with that Del,even though Marko looked like a bag of shitt,he's worth a second look.

That job interview was going so well until I realized I was fukked up on acid in the middle of a cornfield naked and talking to a scarecrow.
