Agree with every single bit of this.

Don't know if you've watched the interview but he basically said that there was a lot of fuss around the committee, he doesn't know everything, doesn't work alone and he will have the first and last words. I personally don't think that the committee thing was as bad as some RUMOURS made of it and it all depends on the confidence, knowledge and experience of the manager. If the manager is not confident enough and has a limited knowledge on players (Rodgers at the beginning was looking at players he had worked with), he will rely more on the committee who in turn will have more influence. If a manager knows exactly what he wants and has the character to fight for it, it's a different ball game.

Last but not least, for our own sake, let's not get over excited so much as to expect immediate results, like winning at Spurs. When that doesn't happen things will go in meltdown very quickly. I am not expecting much until Jan actually and ready to wait and see.

That's true Vish but if it is a slow or rocky start at least we have a manager at the helm who has been through all that elsewhere, come through it and won trophies.

Big difference to BR.

I would settle for laying the foundations but there is every possibility for top four or a cup this season it's only early October a long way to go yet

You cannot compare Klopp's achievement with Rodgers. Never understood his appointment

I think all we ask for is honesty, openness, straight talking, respect, inclusion and 100% effort and commitment. The results will then hopefully take care of themselves. The first impression is very good.

Agree and some managers improve as soon as they arrive, last being KD taking over from Hodgson, but at least he signed a couple of players. But immediate improvement would be the icing on the cake, I am more looking at the 2nd half of the season.

For this season i'll settle for a team that is consistent, plays football that doesn't bore you to tears and a defense that doesn't make me [oops] myself every time the ball gets near them...

Anything more than that and it's good.
