He's a charismatic character. He is a man-manager with great experience coaching. I think he's a couple of steps up from BR, and I doubt BR would have gone for many, but he is a no-brainer... Clearly, his break is over and he is only now happy to take the job. Let's get behind him. We're only six points off first place!

I'd love to say that in jest, but I don't. He is a manager that loves to attack, and we still have a chance of doing everything we want to this season. Let's raise the bar while we still have the chance to. Until it is mathematically impossible, let's aim for the sky and reach the ceiling... rather than reaching for the ceiling and barely making it off the floor.

You might not appreciate it, but I think being rigorous in every walk of life is part of my own mantra, and it is only in thoroughness that stats even become useable and help analyse situations fairly. Its not as if I don't have opinion, maybe one day you'll learn to appreciate the information and opinion other people offer.

Liverpool are close to appointing ex-Borussia Dortmund boss Jurgen Klopp as their new manager on a three-year contract.
The Reds hope to complete negotiations within the next 48 hours and name the 48-year-old German as Brendan Rodgers' successor by the end of the week.
Rodgers was sacked on Sunday following the 1-1 Premier League draw at Everton.
Klopp has asked to bring Zeljko Buvac and Peter Krawietz as part of his coaching staff.
Bosnian Buvac, 54, and German Krawietz, 43, were key members of Klopp's backroom staff during his time at Dortmund.
