On Saturday Jack Robinson became the youngest ever player for LFC.

We keep hearing of loads of youngsters yet Jack is never mentioned.

Comments people?

Fair play to the lad,he'll never forget it even though it was only a couple of minutes he got on the pitch.

Think Rafa said he just got lucky - something to do with reserves being away and getting back late

The reserves were away at a tourney and injuries led to robinson being named.

Sums up the problems we have in that position. Great for him but maybe explains the frustrations of Stevie as the quality of squad very poor. Squad just not good enough. In fairness the U-18 have been pretty impressive this season. Some exciting prospects in the squad. Ngoo, Ince and Sterling to name a few. Ngoo seems a real prospect!

they might well be great prospects but will they get the opportunity to play for the first team on a regular basis while young enough to get the most from it??

I'm all for giving youngsters a go if it means that Eggnog, Babel, Lucas, etc are off the pitch as a result.
