That's not fair Rodgers was given three seasons and wads of transfer cash he got a fair run at it the only manager who did not get a fair crack of the whip was Hodgson by the way not defending him but he was turned out very fast and performances were on a par with Rodgers. The new manager will be given time and space by the fans and it's nonesense to say we will be calling for him to be sacked after one loss. However the bottom line is always football is a fierce results business always has been

why didn't the ydo it in the summer? Maybe a contract thing? less money if they let him go now? something to do with first few games and results perhaps. who knows, but seems like a waste of time having him start the season..

p.s. I was right. wink

That bit is priceless coming from you! First loss you'll act like a spoilt 12 year old girl again and tell us you were right.

Nope, flames was spot on about Rodgers long before most on here and he took dog's abuse for it from the BR disciples.

Oh and he was right.

Yeah a laughable thread really after 3+ years and £300m+.

He's was given every chance but it hasn't worked out and he looked like he'd ran out of ideas. Right decision.

Hope we get Klopp or Ancellotti and don't go for someone like Koeman. Klopp would be first choice.

Lets wait and see. If he doesn't fit with what certain people want, they'll be at him.

Funny how he was only right when we lost. And he didn't take dogs abuse.

Just wonder what changes if any will be made regarding our policies.

Nope wrong again, he was even voicing concerns the year we finished second.

The abuse he received on here was awful and those responsible have been strangely quiet this last while.

Yeah, saw through him when we lost in that season. He barely surfaced during the winning streak only to crawl out from his hole when we lost to Chelsea. He's behaved like a spoilt 12 year old girl through all of this and no doubt will be the same if the new manager doesn't suit him.
