There are not tons of better managers around. Brendan is one of the most promising coaches on the planet - you know that as well. I will admit he lacks the experience and the know how of some of the other similarly talented elite managers out there. This is evident in our general inconsistency and also last season when we were mounted an almost non-existent Champions League campaign. He will gain this experience over time.
Andre Villas Boas is highly regarded as a promising coach and manager, he has already achieved a lot more than Rodgers. However how long did he get at Chelsea? How long did he get at Spurs? The answer is not very long because he didn't deliver what they needed. When has being a 'promising' coach warranted the Liverpool Football Club job?

Very talented like Brendan. Spurs changed manager where are they now? No better than Liverpool. Chelsea can't be compared because they've spent a lot more. AVB made a show of himself at both clubs, not good traits in a supposedly very good manager. What was his great tactic again, oh yeah defend the half way line and hope the other team doesn't notice all the space to run into.

Yes more time How long should he get? In my opinion not winning a trophy in 3 full seasons and only finishing in the Top 4 once in that same time isn't acceptable. I would suggest 95% of Liverpool fans would agree with this view. Rafa got binned for finishing 7th despite his previous records in finishing in the Champions League places and winning two major trophies. Dalglish was sacked after finishing 8th and winning a trophy and losing another final. What gives BR the right to carry when he is doing no better than those previously?

AVB has won major trophies, meaning he is clearly better than BR. You say Chelsea can't be compared because of money spent, Liverpool have spent buckets loads under Rodgers and like you say we are at pretty much the same level of Spurs. In my opinion we have a much better squad than Spurs, its certainly more valuable so why are we at a similar level to them? Either Pochettino is a genius which I don't think he is, or BR is under-achieving.

Rafa didn't get sacked because of his performance. He wouldn't have worked on a negative trasnfer budget anyway. Kenny was not a long-term solution. He was put in to steady the ship which he did although he has performed much worse than Brendan in the league. Brendan in my opinion deserves longer. Brendan in my opinion deserves longer. I'm not saying he has done better than any of the other manager (although he has clearly done better than Kenny) but it is different circumstances.
How has he clearly done better than Kenny? KD finished 8th, won one trophy and was runner up in another. (1 season in charge) BR has finished 7th, 2nd and 6th, won no trophies and got to no finals. (Into his fourth full season)

Obviously I'm basing this on full seasons in charge. KD had the second half of the 2010-2011 season as well after Hodgson.

I'm not getting into the whys with you but just one correction, Raffa was already on a negative transfer budget going into his final season.
Rogers has had more than anyone but the most highly valued and wealthiest clubs in the league e.g. City,Chelsea and Man U and done nothing except go backwards.
If he was on a negative budget we'd be relegated and even if given half what we have now would be struggling to stay up.
One can only imagine the team Everton would be now if they'd have had half what he has. If the man knew as much about himself as we all can obviously see, he'd quit today and go back to a coaching role. An all round club manager he certainly is not.
