Second highest scorer in the league 2 seasons ago when fit. That was once throughout his whole career in a year the whole team played offensive football (this is why we conceded so many) and Suarez had a a hell of a season next to him. I see the current situation completely different.

He has a pretty good record all round not just that season (when fit obviously). If he's used right and fully fit I see no reason to think he won't help a great deal. I've said before that I'm pretty sure Rodgers will play him with Benteke and I think they could work really well together. Also by having 2 up front, that will make us be more offensive.

I hope you are right though I don't feel Sturridge will make that big a difference, mainly because it was not that much of a difference when he came back, albeit for a short period, last season.

I don't think he was ever really fit / recovered. He always seemed rushed back due to our situation.

....Sturridge can actually hobble back onto the pitch without farting and setting his own arse on fire thus requiring a 6 month lay off, is he actually going to make a single jot of a difference to this sinking ship called LFC?  yes he will he is an out and out goalscorer , even last season when he wasnt fully fit he still scored goals .
