I was quite happy to have Martinez. Always liked him from when I saw his Swansea team in the cup when in league 1 I think it was. Didn't like the link to Rodgers as he was linked first I think and would've preferred Martinez out of the 2. We need better now though.

Martinez was not appointed due to Dave Whelan deciding to become the press office of Liverpool FC.

It annoyed the Americans and BR got the job.

Martinez got Wigan relegated and then did no better than Moyes at Everton.

We may as approach Davey Moyes than Martinez, at least Moyes would have a backbone

he is too funny

The money to pay him off isn't an issue. I would be extrememly surprised if they signed players for a fair value in the summer and got rid this early.

I'd like to also add, that most fans spoke of how hard the start to the season was. Most would've taken a draw at Stoke, A win against BMouth and West Ham, and just looked to compete in the other two games without an expectation of points.

It's not about the points or results.

I don't believe it fair to sack a manager, in any circumstance, with money spent and five games in. That is why fans have tried to set him up to fail.

Its not the defeats, its the manner of the defeats, we never fought when Stoke beat us 6-1 and we rolled over vs West Ham and Man Utd.

And to be fair we got 2 lucky wins as well, Bournemouth deserved a draw.

But I also don't want BR sacked, we are still only 4 points behind Leicester not having to play Arsenal, Man Utd or Stoke away until next season.
