Not fact though, the ref's decision is final, the ref ruled the goal out as off side, therefore it was not a valid goal. Under the rules of the game it was an invalid goal that's both fact and logic.
Na, you're wrong. Goal should have stood, ref was wrong. ref got the rules wrong, there for it's a valid goal. From the time the ref blows the whistle to start the game until he blows the whistle to end the game the ref decides what’s a foul, what’s not a foul, what’s a goal, what’s not a goal. That’s the rule, and that’s a fact. Therefore if the ref rules a goal invalid, it is invalid, thats the rule and that’s a fact. actually thats not true at all. what do you think he just goes around making things up? that's absurd. He s there to enforce the rules of the game and he failed. Goal was valid. The FA delegates the power to the ref to decide whether or not a goal is valid or invalid. They never deviate from that rule delegation. Therefore under the rules of the game, as administered by the ultimate authority in the game, if a ref decides a goal is invalid it is invalid. If a ref decides a goal is valid, even if it's carried into the net with someone's two hands, it is a valid goal. That's the rules of the game, as administered by the ultimate authority in the game.

laws of football not rules of football . Laws are rules set by a government or a governing body to maintain stability, in society or in an institution, therefore we can legitimately use both terms interchangeably.

What about where referees decisions are overturned by governing bodies such as bookings ? Can you recall the FA ever declaring a goal that was declared invalid by the ref as valid?

what it is flames wanted it to count as he wants bad things to happen to liverpool along with spice and gnp There are some WUM's on this forum, Flames isn't one of them from what I can see. He's consistent in his dislike for the manager which is his right. Just the same as its your right to post the same "he doesn't want Liverpool to win, he hates Liverpool" on each and every topic. so saying a goal disallowed was a valid goal is right ?? That's the exact level of response I expected from you, which part of my comment makes any reference to Monday nights game let alone Arsenal's disallowed goal? As usual you make stuff up and put words in people mouths.
