I thought we played well in the first half but they did their bit in making us look good. Their defending was shocking, completely all over the place & it's a great shame we couldn't take advantage. The second half was like a reverse of the first, though we defended well (at times) we stood off them & gave them so much time & space, we made them look good. With all of Rodgers' talk about "dominating the space", I'd guess that allowing them possession was part of the plan, obviously it worked but we came far too close to conceding a number of times & the second half. If we'd let one in with 5mins to go I'd be really displeased with the performance as we just didn't get at them at all in the second half.
All in all it's a great point away at Arsenal with lots to be happy about & some great performances but we certainly rode our luck at times, perhaps too many times for comfort.

Not forgetting the only valid goal was disallowed of course.
Although we should have had a peno. you wanted them to score because you hate liverpool . No. But they did score. The only valid goal in the game. Fact. He has a point there. There should have been a pen too though, as you said. I don't thinkg there was much between the two teams. Pretty fair result.

Very happy. Said we needed not to lose and if we can do that again at a few other places this season and make our home games count things will look real interesting.
Well done chaps. Really hope confidence starts to ramp up throughout the squad. Will hopefully do the young guys the world of good.

How was it a top performance? We were [oops] for most of the game.
Arsenal went in to half time with 6 shots, they finished on about 17. We went in to half time with 11 shots, finished with 15.
Arsenal were averaging around 65% possession all match, at some points it was in the mid 70s.
They clearly had a goal ruled out which should have stood.
In the 2n half we could barely string together 2-3 passes.
We were defending from the 2nd half whistle and at one point had 6 defenders at the back.
Rodgers subs were the worst I've seen him make, he was clueless tonight.
If arsenal managed to buy benzema we would have been destroyed tonight. What do you mean by 'if they managed to buy Benzema'? What if we managed to buy Yaya Toure or Messi etc. What kind of BS comment is that?

Not fact though, the ref's decision is final, the ref ruled the goal out as off side, therefore it was not a valid goal. Under the rules of the game it was an invalid goal that's both fact and logic.

Na, you're wrong. Goal should have stood, ref was wrong. ref got the rules wrong, there for it's a valid goal.
