What we need is not to be carrying players in games. Neither Lallana who I don't rate or Coutinho who is my favourite player have actually played well so far.

If a player like Mhkitaryan comes in there will be one going out because we have yet to integrate Ings Origi Markovic Sturridge this season and Firmino has yet to start.

U can never have enuff quality players in the squad

Brodge starting 11 does need improving and the midfield area I believe needs major surgery ie two quality Center mid players needed..

If mika signs... Then I wud try and sell/unload lallana ...

If asier signs ... Then Lucas is making room for him.... I wud move Allen out

Exactly what I was thinking - we're stuggling to fit in the players we have already.

It's part of BRs strategy... keep buying new players so that he can continue to use the 'it takes time to gel/learn my philosophy' card if performances don't improve.

I’d say its just so much more transfer speculation, probably started by his agent. What we need is a defensive mid not an attacking mid, so I think its just rubbish.

The problem is that most of these attacking players we have are young and need time on the pitch to develope - Coutinho has more or less cemented his place, Milner and Hendo look to occupy two other places with Lallana already looking to play big part in Rodgers plans this season... we then have Emre, Marko, Ibe & Firminho who are all young and need a run in the team to progress.... and don't get me started on the striker sittuation..

Ings & Origi look like they'll struggle to get a game between them given the midfielders we have fighting for a spot as it is with us playing one striker up top - they then need time to adjust and find their form in the first team, something that is surely that is not on their side. Add to that Sturridge coming back... that almost cetainly removes one midfield spot.

This new signing, if true, makes no sense what-so-ever.

So they're signing players as an excuse? Makes perfect sense crazy

a bit tongue in cheek of course... caused by the number of duds we seem to have bought recently, and they're becoming increasingly expensive.

These are just reports but what i do find strange is that they are not reports of interest, but reports that a bid has actually been accepted, which i find quite odd. Whether we need him or not is debatable, but at the moment, if Coutinho comes off at half time, who do you want replacing him? Markovic? Origi? Lallana? Personally I think Mkhytarian is better suited to the #10 role better than any of those...

Would love to see him here, but highly likely it is nonsense

Sure, we've got a boatload of mids and if they were all as good as Coutinho or as consistent Milner then fair enough, but they're not. Anyone that raises the quality is a good thing.

Might be a grain of truth to it seeing as it's from a fairly reliable source, if there is such a thing these days.
