We were certainly winning the ball back a lot better after Henderson went off.

We went total crap when hendo went off. I don't think Can is good enough, will not say for sure cause he really hasn't played much in midfield but my initial assessment is not good enough, too cumbersome on the ball, not got game intelligence. Looks lovely when in full flow but I think thats all he got.

Can is good, but he doesn't have the same composure or nous that henderson does. We became disorganized and disjointed when he went off. Can did well defensively, but Henderson is a better midfielder at the moment.

What's being said about Can now is what was said about Hendo 2-3 seasons ago.

Can is young and has rarely been given a decent run in his preferred position.

Can is a bit clumsy that's what worries me, Like red said his composure isn't great and he tends to give up easily while chasing. He will learn with experience but with a tough fixture like Arsenal I think Rodgers will go with Lucas or both to beef up the midfield.

Can will be better than Hnedo but as some has mentioned still lacks composure and will i think get more bookings than Hendo. But more game time and experience will make him a better midfielder than Hendo in MY opinion.

Apparently there was a scare that it was a hairline fracture, but the medics ruled it out.

Not as serious as feared, and he may start on Monday.

Composure? Hendo is a nice english lad, but he is only composed when he taps the ball back to who gave it to him, or back to the center backs.

Emre Can is a total footballer who can shield the ball, turn a man, can use both feet, etc etc.
Hendo is lost if he is one-on-one or has to go to the left.
