Firmino was understandably off the pace. Whether he is lacking fitness or needs time to adapt to the pace of the league, one things for sure is that he needs a prolonged run in the team before we can make any fair judgements.
Emre Can's agility and acceleration is poor for someone so explosive and fast.
Lallana puts in a solid performance and lasted the full 90 minutes. I've seen some people mention that he can't last a full 90 minutes as if he is too unfit. If you look at the running stats from past seasons you will find Lallana is one of the fittest players in the league.
Benteke offered neat touches as well as physicality. Early signs suggest he may be able to adjust to Liverpool's style of play (or the other way around) after all. Time will tell.
Two games played, two wins. We have had too much quality for Stoke and Bournemouth despite not being at our best. This is the reason why the likes of Teixeira etc. haven't had a look in - they are promising, but don't consistently show a high quality end product. Teixeira may go on a mazy run past 3 players, but who is likely to put the ball in the top corner under pressure from 25 yards, Texieria or Coutinho? Who is most likely to play a perfectly weighted, diagonal through ball to set up Benteke for the match winner, Texieira or Hendo? This is why he will remain out of the Liverpool team for nearly every game.
One other thing. Lovren was clearly fouled for the goal.
2 things you haven't noticed for whatever reasons,
1. We were overrun by Bornemouth who has just been promoted and had a line up value of less than 10m.
2. Our goal should not have stood.
Also which solid performance did Lallana put, do you understand the game?
The only positives are the 3 points and Benteke. Despite the 6 points I am not convinced at all and would be very surprised if we get anything at the Emirates.
