Great start to the season. Solid if slightly ordinary performance. Great strike From Coutinho. Well done Brendan and the players. First win of many I hope.

Thought the manager got his tactics spot even a draw his tactics were spot on for me horrible team to play against glad it's out the way

So going by the results Coutinho best player today and Lallana the worst.

Apart from the goal the performances from Lallana and Coutinho were the same.

My MOM would have been Lovren, our best defender at the back on the day.

The difference between Lallana and Coutinho is that even if Coutinho isn't playing his best he's still got a killer shot on him and is a game changer.

Mmmm, I wonder who gave Rodgers a 9 ? More of a 6 for me. I'll give him a 9 when we beat UTD away.

He got his starting 11 wrong?

That team controlled Stoke who only 5 weeks earlier put 6 past us.

The team was spot on today.

mmmm I wonder who the posters were that gave the manager a 5 after a hard fought win at probably one of the toughest away grounds in the country I'll hold back on the 5 until we only just scape a home win against Bournemouth next week

We had more possession but to say we controlled is wrong, neither team really did anything with the ball.
Stoke spent 9mil on players this summer, 1-0 via a wonderstrike isnt convincing

Lallana is just a luxury player. He doesn't do a lot for me going forward and when he is defending he is a liability. I expected him to start instead of Coutinho and yet again we saw how he cannot last 90 mins at the top level.
