Reus would be a fantastic signing but we are overloaded in that position so unsure on this.

If a player has one injury he's injury prone to most. Hasn't he had a couple of bad knee injuries?


Yes he had a few and another scare not to long ago and we all know recurring knee injuries could end a career.

Personally i believe we are being used to try and get Real to make a move but if they don't, just maybe, we could get him and as sixties has pointed out, with him, Firmino, Benteke, Sturridge, Milner, Markovic and Ibe we would have a good shot at top 4 and a very formidable attacking line up...not forgeting Coutinho too. Make top 4, main stand finished and we are a hell of a hot property. Even in 6 months time if we are sitting in the top 4 we are already a more highly valued asset.

Makes sense for FSG and for the new buyer. Not sayi g it will happen but i wouldn't dismiss it either.

No one is saying it will happen, but what Dunc and his people are saying is that we have held talks with his agent, concerning him, and that our interest is very real. His preffered destination has always been real madrid but Sterlings prefferes destination was Arsenal so who knows, just maybe. Dunc also says he doubts it will happen, but our approach is and interest is genuine. Thats all. I like that because it means we are goonng after aome real quality.

I think we already have too many attacking players and shouldn't get too excited about this. We have had a defence problem for some years now and it appears to me that the manager hasn't changed much to improve in the new season.

We had a defence problem the year we finished 2nd too but it seems the manager is adamant about nullifying it by outscoring the opposition. This is something i personally have no problem with as it makes for entertaining football for the spectator. The way i see it, would i rather have Reus than not have him in our squad? I'd much rather have him.
