Yes good striker I agree.
But we are bending over and getting our belly rubbed by Villa.
Now Sherwood may have told the world that Benteke buyout clause is 32.5million, but we should be blunt back and tell Villa the only way we will pay that buyout clause is on the final day of the window, and we will only pay it, if we have not signed another striker instead.
Then we should submit a 25million offer for Benteke and tell Villa it is valid until the last day of the window and if they want to sell for 25million to contact us and we will do a deal.
Benteke should also submit a transfer request and tell Villa the only club he will sign for is us.
Job done, Villa face the prospect of not selling and having a unhappy player.
Not selling for 25million and praying we offer 32.5 million on the last day of the window, which even if we do buggers up the transfer window for Villa.
A lesson in how to be ruthless Mr Ayre. This is not how expect LFC to behave. Put a value on the player and make the offer. if they don't accept and a deal can't be struck swiftly move on. Show respect to other clubs. Other clubs mat behave differently but this is LFC. We should be keeping higher standards. Are these the same high standards that mean we should sell Sterling because he has put the slightest foot out of line? Sterling wants to leave and doesn't want to sign a new contract, so what's the [oops] are you talking about? Because we shouldn't be dictated to by Sterling. Which ever club he plays for he's going to be playing a game he loves and enjoying a comfortable lifestyle. A slightly immature, pampered 20 year-old fancies a move to another club so lets pamper him even more and be as accommodating and facilitative as possible so that he gets his wish. Let's maintain our high standards by looking after the wishes of the players whether it is in the club's best interests or not. He's a world class talent and you would be happy for him just to leave like that, unbelievable.

World class talent - Ibrahimovic, Pirlo, Suarez, Ronaldo, Messi, Pique, Ramos, Neuer, Kross, Robben... I could go on all day but I'll stop.
Promising Youngster - Sterling.
Don't get the two mixed up or I'll slap you.

Talent, to me, is someone's natural ability. Sterling needs time to develop and grow. He will gain invaluable experience and hone his skills further.
He is more talented than Suarez, Pique, Pirlo, Pique and Kroos in my opinion.
It doesn't mean he will fulfil his talents though.

He's certainly talented at running into defenders and oh he's super fast... Can't think of anything else if I do I'll get back to you.

So he's not good in the one-on-one, he hasn't got good tactical awareness and vision, he's not defensively hard-working, he's not strong and good at holding the ball up, he's not dynamic and doesn't stretch teams, he hasn't got good bodywork, he hasn't got intelligent offensive movement either has he? The list goes on. Yeah just get back to me if you remember anymore.

Sounds like a Brendan Rodgers term. Brendan has used this term in his interviews before. When Allen signed for Liverpool he commented on his bodywork.
