City have $100m to spend after ffp lifted their restrictions and one of their top targets is Sterling. Look he's a good player but every player has his price and liverpool would be fools rejecting $50m for a prospect. Move him on, bring in a top striker with the money.
I think it's a good idea to get rid of Sterling at this point in time.
He has clearly outgrown Liverpool. He thinks he deserves better than what the clubs ambitions are at the moment. But no one is bigger than the club, so just get it done and sell him for £ 50M to City or whoever.
On the other hand we all know there won't be any top striker for the same amount coming in. There will be:
1. A young prospect for £ 28 M coming in.
and
2. The rest of the $terling fee balancing the books.
