I'm hopeful Rodgers will be able to retain Sterling.

No way Rodgers can keep Sterling, the latter is too ambitious to work under a learning manager

It's funny you do these cryptic digs at people in all your post. Me, I prefer to call a cvnt a cvnt.

Keeping Sterling would be a statement of intent and a message to everybody that we're no more small fish.

I know we don't like Sterling's attitude but he is a good player. Make him sign a new contract and if the team doesn't make at least 4th agree in principle to sell him to the highest bidder , something the way Suarez was sold

The best deal we will ever get will be the next bid that comes in from City.

He is one of those players who gets kicked about and will be another Aaron Lennon, Scott Sinclair or Adam Johnson. Full of promise but eventually falling way short of expectations.

All because of his attitude.

Sterling and Rodgers had a major fall out months ago, sterling will not stay whilst BR is still here, he has stated several times that he wants to leave to win trophies.

The only way sterling will stay is if we can't agree on a price for him, as for benteke; his deal rests solely on sterling leaving.

The only way Sterling will stay is if Man City refuse to meet our price.
