Heinz beans have gone downhill over the years,it's like they're watering the bean juice down..fukkin disgrace.

Hardly a fair comparison, one is a 2nd striker, the other is a right winger, one is 23, the other is 21.

How has Firmino shown he is PL standard or top 4 standard? Baseless arguement.

How has Deulofeu struggled for game time? he played 28 games for Sevilla last season. Scoring 3 goals and getting 10 assists. The season before he scored 4 and got 5 assists in 29 games for Everton from the wing.

At the same age, Firmino wasn't as good as Deulofeu is now.

Deulofeu is getting better with age and at 4.2 mil, he is a steal.

I have seen a lot of people saying what a good deal Everton have got. I've also seen people saying how Liverpool have been ripped off and Everton have nicked a gem (this may be to try and wind people up, I don't know). There are some as well who have said that they would have preferred Deulofeu.

All of the comments above are perfectly fine, everybody's entitled to their opinion.

However, Firmino is in a different league to Deulofeu. It is like comparing supermarket own brand baked beans with Heinz baked beans. While one player has been one of the stars of the Bundeliga for a couple of years and broken through into the Brazil team, the other has struggled for game time or consistency at all clubs he's been at. Deulofeu, up to date, has not shown he is at a consistent premier league standard yet never mind top 4 standard.

My main point I am trying to get across is that both players are at different stages of their career and are of vastly different quality at the moment so comparing them is very misleading. Everton have bought a young unproven player, Liverpool have signed an established promising star. Both could prove successes or failures, but both players are in different parts of their career and there differences in their transfer fees rightly suggest that.
