Only Rodgers will play a winger at wing back and let's not forget play Sterling as a striker.
noun [oops]·trar·i·an \kən-ˈtrer-ē-ən, kän-\. If all else fails say that word outstanding a couple of times. The more you do the more you will believe your own spin.

Agreed but you would expect a manager to change a failed tactic and not persist with it. Frustration for me was that Lambert started at home to QPR and away to Chelsea and we got 4 points, he then gets dropped for no reason for the last 2 games of the season where we get completely battered and deservedly lose.
Playing with no strikers is much more frustrating than using wingers as wing backs for me!

Playing with no strikers is much more frustrating than using wingers as wing backs for me! Yeah and that was the worst thing about it all for me. Constantly playing with no striker and instead using Sterling, who can just hit a barn door with a banjo on a good day, was just plain stupid. You could argue our striker aren't good enough but for me would still be a better option than the one he used. Even using Gerrard up top would've been a better option as at least he can finish! Lets just hope he puts that crap behind him for next season!

He signs players, then mouths off that they aren't good enough and then force them into roles they are not comfortable in. I'm not a fan of any of our strikers but Borini, Lambert and even that waste of space Balotelli keeps defenders busy and might just create space for others.
Sterling as a striker is as stupid a tactic as Marcovic at wb. The constant chop and change was irritating never allowing players to settle and be consistent. Why did he not try two strikers he had 3 or sometimes even 4 available.

Or that the ones he signs he later realises are gash a year after everyone else knew it. Everyone including himself says he signs them. Anything else is nothing but a conspiracy theory at the moment. He signed gash players before we even had a committee.
