Should definitely get a shot in preseason. Seems to me like we will have 6 cbs this season and I can not figure out why...

First time watching him tonight in the U21 final. Very impressed, always seems to be in the right place to make a block and not afraid to put it in. Surely Rodgers is watching this too and will give him a chance. I just hope coming late to preseason doesn't hurt his chances.

Made a couple of mistakes in the first half but has looked quite calm and composed since. Good performance.

Not ready for first team though, still showing a lot of inexperience. Would be good to get him among the squad though.

Yeah I agree, can see him starting the odd League Cup & Europa League game along side somebody experienced like Toure or Skrtel though.

Like Ibe and Markovic, Illori would develop here in some europa league and cup games.

He needs to be given a chance in his preferred position. We have had a couple of CB here in the past who left without much of a look in and they excelled elsewhere because they got time on the pitch. The Echo had a write up a while back about it.

We have more pressing issues than Ilori right now.

i dont understand why we are relatent on sending them to pl teams. wisdom is the only one i can think of in recent times
