Who would ever have thought it.

I wonder how long it will be before we win it again. I can't see it any time soon.

Also a fresh turnip for the first man to have the balls to say we could win it next season.

We're going to win the league next season...

Now where's my turnip

Muscling in on my territory this. mad

Don't worry I'm only knitting a replica.

Or perhaps if it wasn't for Rodgers being naive in his tactics during that game and the Crystal Palace one, or perhaps the ones that went badly earlier in the season? Or perhaps his inability to sort out the defence...

I don't blame Rodgers any more than I Blame Gerrard. Both were instrumental to the success of that season, and the slip certainly wasn't the only reason we didn't win the title.

Unless Roman Abramovic and Sheik Mansour bugger off or we find another Billionaire who is willing to throw money at the club its hard to see us winning it.

Only way is to get a top manager in who can attract top players and back him financially. Someone like Ancelloti could do it, 3 years 50 million net spend a year (easily doable with the TV money).

Where on earth did this rubbish of "top managers" attracting "top players" come from? What attracts top players is top clubs, and top earnings, plus the opportunity to play regularly and win things, with club location and tradition also having a lesser bearing on their choice. Who the manager is has very little bearing on their decision one way or the other.

I think you meant the Suarez instead of Rodgers because the latter is still here so at least should have been to do a top 4.

I don't agree, ultimately it's the manager who convinces a player to come if he is having second thoughts. I don't think Blind would have come to United at that price if it was not LVG, Wenger attracts a lot of French players because he is very famous in France, Moyes United doesn't have the same attractiveness as Ferguson's.
