Who is head hunting these coaches if FSG and the board knows nothing about football?
It just looks to me like they're trying to find new ways to get success rather than just chucking massive amounts of money at it in the tried and proven manner.
They still make plenty of cash available, but it's being spunked away in a scattergun approach as opposed to buying proven quality - manager included.
Quality isn't always the solution either - seen plenty of big names not fit in over the years... but buying quality reduces the chance of failure and wasted resources... something FSG haven't quite come to grips with yet.
I don't personnally think their methods are set in stone, I think they could quite possibly change tact if the results don't improve and they intend to stay on as owners..
.. but I'm as clueless as to the goings on as anyone else on here - what do any of us really know?
