I would consider him a fourth striker type really,(although I'm no expert)Its worries me getting the fourth striker in before the 1st choice world class one.

Nope, not going to back mediocrity. We need better, we must sign better. This is LFC ffs not Ipswich. I have nothing against the lad the problem is not once has Rogers or anyone at the club stated he's a young player and is here to learn, improve his game etc etc. He should spend the next season in the reserves. Oh sorry we don't do that anymore do we. Probably be Ings and the out of position lama to start the first game of the season then.

Ok he is signed will he actually play or are we just going to stockpile strikers and play Sterling or some other BR favorite

If he was 18 I could understand it but not 22!

it's a low risk punt on a potentially very good player who will provide decent cover for when sturridge is out.
i think there are a few headaches this window trying to fill so many positions... milner and ings are looking like relatively cheap / shrewd buys that will hopefully help free up funds for a right back, goalkeeper, a top striker and possibly a centre back
providing him and origi will replace 2 of either lambert, balotelli and borini i'll be happy.
still missing another top striker though imo
i quite like vietto, dybala and ben yedder too
