Yeah it's always a drag once the season ends.

I think this guy is a troll though.

Does seem that way but you never know. Not everyone thinks Rodgers is the antichrist. Most people I speak to about football whoever they support seem to like him.

hahaha, you and Divock AND Rodgers Mum and possibly whatever your main account is. The list is ever growing. Shame no one who as shown any footballing nouse is on the list yet though.

£211 million spent in order to gain 1 extra point.

Superb management.

62 - 52 = 10 points

62 -61 = 1 point

I assume you were off school sick the day they did hard sums. Probably at a united game.

I'm sorry but you're wrong. Brendan has spent £211 million in total across 3 seasons. Before he spent any money in the summer he joined Liverpool finished with 52 points. After £211 million they have now finished with 62 (10 points difference).

If you're trying to say they have improved by 1 point from the end of Brendan's first season in charge to the end of this season, then you need to deduct the money he spent in the first summer and january transfer windows from the £211 million.

Hopefully you can at least grasp this, if not basic subtraction.

Do keep trying to twist the figures to suit yourself bout the rest of us live in the real world.

He asked that we judge him after 3 seasons, so we have.

His first season 61 points , last season 62 points.

£211 million spent on a one point improvement.

As I said , superb management.

Yes but he spent money in the summer 2012 (like Allen and borini), and in january 2013 (sturridge, coutinho) to go from 52 points to 61 points in his first season.

So its 62 - 52 (not 61).

Anyway, I get your point that since the end of his first season in charge we have barely progressed.

We will just leave it at that.

Well the chat has made my morning more interesting, but I feel there are two camps now the pro BR he is outstanding coach and those that want him gone.

I think he is the manager and i support the team but he has convince me that he is as good as he thinks he is.

If BR was half as good as he thinks he is we would be fine. KD won a cup ,beat all the big teams, was back in europe and we sacked him. If suarez hadn't hit the post 100 times prob would have got top 4 too. BR was 5-0 to stoke at half time. Again enough said

Well it's decided now isn't it, FSG have shown they don't have any interest in making Liverpool a top club by keeping Rodgers. Really is simple as that. Expect Rodgers to make more poor signings, struggle all season. New manager by next season when the cycle will continue.
