Check out the Rafa article on the news page. Says he's a real possibility and that Klopp isn't sold on the 'project' just yet! No surprise there then. He probably doesn't want a bunch of nob heads telling him how to manage and who he should buy! Now THAT IS THE major stumbling block for any potential replacement. They're only going to want a 'yes man', that is willing to turn over at the click of their fat stubby yanky fingers, and 'ave their tummy tickled. You're ASSUMING that FSG dictate strict transfer policies and you're ASSUMING that Dortmund don't operate under a similar method. Most european clubs use a 'director of football' or 'transfer committee' so I can't see that as being a reason for Klopp (or anyone else for that matter) to turn us down. Only time will tell then ey? Whatever, I, and every other fan just quite simply wants to see the very best for our club. Watch this space then ey?

3 years ago we were in 8th..... 2 years ago we were in 7th..... Last year there was a malfunction in the EPL! This year we'll probably be in 5th...
That's 1 position improvement each year of the plan/pattern is stuck to so we are bang on course.
Just because a club invests £150m in players, it doesn't mean their success needs to happen that season. The players purchased were young so they are clearly seen as long term investments and not a quick-fix scheme to give Liverpool FC a cameo appearance in the CL group stages.
Seriously ladies & gents, FSG will be more than happy with Brendan so talk about something else.

He probably doesn't want a bunch of nob heads telling him how to manage and who he should buy! No one is telling Rodgers what tactics to use, what players to choose in his first 11, how to conduct his training sessions etc We could have easily won more games, had Rodgers thought about his tactics and adapted to the opposition, we might have won more had an actual striker been on the pitch, how many games have we played with Sterling on his own up front? The fact that Rodgers accepted defeat before even playing a game in Europe. The guy's a chump and most managers could do a better job, at this point in time I would take Sherwood over him and thats saying something.

I can assure you, they really aren't. Minimum target this season was top 4 and a cup. Rodgers told them and the world that we could challenge for the title this season. 3 years, over 200 million spent and we have gone up 2 places in the league. That is a major disaster.

You and your pretend sources can't assure me of any such thing. If you think 5th isn't where we should be, then which of the top 4 should we be above and why?

We should be above Man Utd, they are a very poor team, no defence, no midfield, suffering injuries all season.

really so as we are playing so well now you think we will win at stoke because I don't and in fact would not be shocked at yet another defeat.

I think it should be an improvement, if I gave you 150k for improves for your house then I expect the value to go up.

I think darcus either knows something or he is more than likely clutching at straws on if the owners are happy because every time we have a bit of pressure BR team bottles it again.

LOL! 2 years ago they were EPL champions and have a pedigree of winning it more than anyone else. They had far fewer games this season, spent even more on players than we have, spend even more money on wages than us, and are the 2nd richest club in the world. Plus they have appointed a very experienced manager who has won everything in the game and he has proven himself by doing it in several different countries. That's that one out of the way.....Who else do you think we should be above? And be serious this time....

I think you add to the fact they had worse injuries then us, changed formation more times than us and had defensive issues like us.
We should have been closer to them and above them yes, as we had a settled team and a so call wonder kid manager who has two years already in the job against someone never manager in the premiership and was struggling early on. Plus even at the end if we had gone on a decent run after the arsenal defeat we could have been above them but instead the season just fell apart into pure crap.
