If this is the case why is Gerrard starting any games at all? You don't plan for next season by making a sub with 12 minutes to go!

As I see it, our future looks very grim indeed with the lack of personalities in the squad. We need a new manager and half a team, otherwise it's more of the same.

Get that useless, fake of a manager out of our dug out now. Immediately. You're done. You failed. Again. For the last time. Hope I never see you again.

Gerrard gone next season means we basically have no more men at the club, only boys. A few posers, a few brain dead defenders, a keeper who im pretty sure is going to go postal one of these days and kill everyone, and of course... Bolatelli.

HAPPY CHELSEA DAY EVERYONE!

It's been a terrible season and no one can argue with that but to be honest if you really are a supporter you, personally, don't deserve any success with what ever team you choose to follow. You don't support or be constructive only predict we will fail and then sit on you're high horse crowing at how right you were. Well congratulations...at least one LFC 'fan' got what they wanted this season. The rest of us will be disappointed and hope for better times ahead!

you can jump in the same sinking ship as the other two their ben. Not big enough to admit he was wrong.

I really don't have a huge desire to be proven right or wrong...just for us to do well. There lies our difference!

I think there are a lot of harsh and unfair comments being made on this forum, as I have voiced before. By that, I don't mean for or against Rodgers, I just mean that respect amongst some members is being shattered. I hold my hands up as accountable at times, but, I think it just shows that we're all sharing the same hurt.

All anybody wants is for the club to be successful. I don't buy into FSG wanting to make money, they've not taken money out since they've been in charge. I don't buy the Suarez was everything chat, because we had time without him in our title hunt, and we had the whole team step up. I also don't buy the Rodgers is to blame for all that is wrong this season, because he has adapted and done well in the second half of the season, results wise.

Whatever happens, we're all supporting the team. It isn't fair to mock people that still believe in Rodgers, nor is it appropriate to jump on those that do want change.

When I spoke up for Rodgers after his first year and predicted good things, I said that I expected us to be competing within 4 or 5 years, and that we'd be back in the CL in the next few. I got laughed at and called blind, and it was great to see it come true.

I saw people talk on here about how we'd fail this season, and I thought they had the wrong of the stick, and I was wrong to think we'd finish in the top three. I remember posting about missing out on a striker and being disappointed, and like Arsenal years ago, it was easy to look at our team and see its weaknesses.

I do think we missed an opportunity again today. We were well worth the point, but could easily have taken all three. We've missed players able to convert chances, and it is not fair for Rodgers to suggest its because we miss Sturridge. Sterling, Coutinho, Lallana, Lambert, Borini, Balotelli and half the squad are responsible too. We FAILED to replace Suarez, and we need to replace Gerrard this year.

Critiquing Rodgers' subs today isn't worth it to me. Sinclair was obviously brought on to inject pace up top. Ibe was there to put pressure on a relatively slow and aged back line, and Gerrard got a substitution for not being at the races, and BR probably thought it would be good to get a bit of respect from one of his rivals' fanbases. Is it a big deal? No...

like i said, fsg get it right on the next try ill be happier. i was certainly happier during the houllier/ early raffa years when we had real players competing in real competitions. yes we had flaws but there was always hope and sometimes silverware. thats enough for me.

we dont have any of that now.

Cry like a warrior?? At least you've given me something to laugh about!

So who is right in your eyes? I know it's not your job but you must have an idea. Try and bring something constructive to your ranting.

Having BR as our manager and keeping him here at the detriment of the club shows our ambition.

Doesn't matter - we don't feed whichever striker is on. We have to watch Raheem run the ball into trouble - and tame shots from the edge of the area. We could't come up with a through ball or a final pass if our lives depended on it. And don't get me started on crosses.

That post makes the point I've been making all along Kop, it's a quality issue, these players don't have the ability or the creativity to break down any half decent defense, and that brings us back to our recruitment and wage policy, if you pay nuts you get monkeys, people can blame the manager if they want to demean their own knowledge of the game, but Merlin the magician died a long time ago and even if he was alive we wouldn't meet his minimum wage demand so he wouldn't be here to turn these sow's ears into silk purses.

Utd have done no such thing; they simply did what we did last year by improving in the league when their rivals had more games to play due to CL football. Only difference is, we did it better by finishing 2nd.

And you can't blame Rodgers for Gerrard leaving!!! I suppose you think LVG would have magically turned Gerrard into a 26 yr old again??!

Absolute [oops], he bought Lucas on as he was playing for a draw, there's no other reason. The whole team was set up for a draw from the start.
