Brodge trying to put round pegs in square holes with some players and asking them to perform 100%....ie

Emre as a defender

Sterling as a make shift striker

Allen as a DM or ACM

Lazar, ibe as a wing back

Hendo played all over the place

I agree mighty, Sterling is very young and although not blameless hardly knows what's hit him tbh, he needs keeping in line and some good sound guidance but Rogers isn't going to achieve that because Brendans head is a s big as Raheems at the moment.
They both think they have arrived but sadly have not.

Owen was a fantastic player I can't understand the vitriol contrast sterling yesterday with Owen at Cardiff in 2001. I wish we had a striker as good as Owen today

There is no doubt that Sterling is an extremely talented young footballer with a huge future ahead of him IF he is humble enough and if he gets the right advice from the people around him especially his manager. Selling him right now sends the wrong message that this club cannot deal with a difficult situation. Its like a teacher expelling a problematic student from class, less headache but failure to do the job you're paid to do.

You reckon?

He left us to 'win things'. 9 months later whilst he was sat on Madrid's bench we were lifting the Champions League trophy. After he left Liverpool, he won virtually 'eff all', playing on average just 15 games per season. His post LFC highlight was 'winning' a premier league title with Utd. where he only scored twice during the whole season(!).

I think the vast majority of fans dislike his extremely BAD and holier than though overly self important greedy attitude.
I'll be most disappointed if he isn't shown the door this coming summer.

I slagged Owen and Torres off relentlessly when they both left, but tell you what, this £'s sterling reptile isn't worthy of licking their boots.

I never said anything about winning things - I dislike the little shitthead but you can't take away the fact that he was one of footballers top strikers for a good number of years, I reckon.

sterling has a modern day all about me attitude - maybe he is right? why stay here - we continually balls things up and the top 4 looks pretty set in stone for the next 5yrs.

fsg and br are the problem

sterling is a great talent.
