God, not this again. Get over Rafa, why do we always yearn for his return ? Let's move forwards and be more pragmatic about this, and not be bound by these emotional connections with past managers. Klopp maybe a wild stretch, but we should do everything in our power to get him. Rafa is considered by many to be our best manager since Paisley, and was only sacked because a couple of yankee doodle dandy buffoons thought they knew better than him. Why would any LFC fan not want him back? Because he was never able to win the league?

Rafa is considered by many to be our best manager since Paisley, and was only sacked because a couple of yankee doodle dandy buffoons thought they knew better than him. Why would any LFC fan not want him back? Because he was never able to win the league? Well, he came close. And 'winning the league' wouldn't be a realistic expectation on a Liverpool manager these days. Getting into Europe and doing well in Europe is more likely to be the best we can hope for and he is very capable of that.

You expected him to win the league when he was consistently given peanuts to spend despite regularly qualifying for CL? If he was given even half of what chavs or citeh had been spending, then we start to talk.
