I think he has score some big goals this season, but is it greedy to want him to score more

Don't get fooled by the David Silva hype - he is a wildly inconsistent player. Sterling has more goals and more assists than Silva in the last 2 years. Silva is on £200k per week and people are moaning that Sterling wants £100k+. If you look at the stats, his so-called demands aren't that unreasonable.

The game isn't played on paper.

How do you know Silva is on £200k per week?

The problem is if Sterling signs a new contract on £100k or whatever it is a week? He will want another contract in two or three years on bigger money and that for me is where the problem lies. It's not just about one contract!

On paper joe allen had a bigger success rate of passes then xavi when at Swansea.

Now you cannot tell me joe allen is Barcelona material

I'm aware of that. But earlier in the thread 'stats' were used to suggest how good Silva was, so I have used stats to suggest otherwise just to keep the argument well balanced.

That's why I never bother looking at stats - watching the game tells you everything you need to know.
