Team plays, performances in the way the manager wants them to play...

Team league position tells the truth....

Rogers lacks quality as a manager, no fight, no commitment, etc etc

And so does a lot of today's players...

Br gets found out wen he comes across top managers ...wins the odd game in 8-10 games...

And Rogers never learns anything from defeats against the top sides...

I think Br is hindered not helped by FSG. if he went to city he would have them playing deadly.. sure thats easy enough to do but BR wanted senior players in the squad and for big wages ..fsg won't do that. hence why we are looking more and more like a feeder club. and I always point out that FSG said that was their plan when they took over..its not covert, they said they want young players to sell them on for higher prices... exactly what is happening.

Best post i've seen from you on this forum. Summed it up perfectly!!!

hold on now. said i would be tempted to keep him..but ultimately he has to answer for those signings. Kenny answered for his signings and i wouldn't have sacked him either bty. its a tough call . 50/50. maybe i would give him another season. problem is the squad is getting worse not better.

FSG partly to blame? No doubt. Rodgers good enough? no fuucking way. He's an absolute charlatan. Yes there are restrictions at the club with the owners but my christ Rodgers is one of the most managers we have had. he's all talk and posturing, thinks he is far better than he is.

Gotta go. Nothing to lose.

Harsh. That said, I would agree with some that he has no eye for players although his tactics are sound. However, not having the acumen to pick players to play your system is itself counterproductive.

I just can't see fsg sacking him. I'm not impressed with the clubs performance this season, whether that's down to BR, fsg, the transfer committee or some of the players themselves i don't know. they all are answerable to something. I'm well [oops] off about our results in the early part of the season which ultimately made great wins against city and Spurs look meaningless after the defeats to arse and the the scum.

despite all that fsg will stick. so like him or not, I would bet that BR will be manager at the start of next season. I'd get used to that.

Is he alone picking the layers for his system? I'd say not or how do you explain dumping Remy for Mario?

If he is able to pick the players he wants just not able to hold his ground for those decisions then that would be just as bad.

But there's a committee. If he's out numbered by that committee in who he wants what can he do?

Unfortunately he would have to prove himself. That means winning trophies. Only then can he act with authority. Do we have the luxury to wait until he gets there?
