Sometimes this forum makes me shake my head in disbelief it really does.

Do you seriously think that Barcelona and Man City are creaming themselves over the thought of Brendan Rodgers, you know that man who has an atrocious European record, can't attract world class players, has never won a trophy in his whole coaching career....

Just this week, Diego Simeone said he would like to take over at Man City if Pellegrini is dismissed...that's who they have lined up to take over, not Brendan [oops] Rodgers.

Barcelona wouldn't touch him with a bargepole either.

If rodgers does leave, I can see him going to West Ham or a similar team.

And most of the times your posts have me shaking my head.

I'd just like to ask how you know that City, Barca etc wouldn't want Rodgers? Do you sit on their boards? Now I'm not saying they do but who knows in football?

Yes they do get some good unknown players but they also buy ready made too. Atletico bought Mandzucic and that Greizman fella. Dortmund bought Aubamayang, Mikki and Imobile.

If If, IF he's still with us in another 3 or 4 years and we've won the League and he's proven himself in Europe then a link to City would be realistic. Have to agree with the Spice Boy here, Br's got some corners of his own to turn before we have to worry about the likes of City coming for him.

All those players were within our budget but we made a bid on only one of them, Mikhitarian. Rodgers has bought worse.

because it's [oops] obvious. Why would they want Rodgers?

I've just had a look on a man city forum and this is what they have to say -

Rodgers - are you f*cking kidding me?..

He's a [oops] smarmy, egotistical c**t that preaches tippy tappy ticky taka chicken tikka football when if you actually watch Bottlepool his tactics are lump it forward and tell every outfield player to chase after it like a border collie.

Plus he's won [oops] all. Unless coming in 2nd to Pellegrini implies you can replace Pellegrini...

His overbearing and nauseating personality aside, I've seen nothing from Rodgers to suggest he is the managerial genius he seems to think he is. He's proven on numerous occasions to be tactically naive, but then again so has Pellegrini.
I think the current state of the rest of the Prem has more to do with Liverpool's position than any managerial brilliance.
Their current form has them where they are supposed to be, let's not forget what they have spent. Liverpool are performing at the level they are supposed to.
Rodgers deserves no praise for that.

Given the monies spent, they should be doing well.

3rd highest spenders in the Prem in the last 5 seasons

I am happy to confirm though that whether they finish top 4 or not he does remain an insufferable [oops].

I've always hated liverpool, but he's took it to another level. There's nothing worse than someone who thinks they're better than there actual ability. You'd expect his arrogance off a manager with an outstanding record over a number of years.

Their fans want Ancelotti, followed by Klopp, Guardiola, Rafa and Simeone. They don't want Rodgers, heck he wasn't even first choice for us. Beyond this club, football supporters can't stand Rodgers, it's only on LFC forums that people create this myth that Rodgers is a world class manager.

Nobody has said Rodgers is a world class manager mate. He is still learning.

Perhaps he should do that in the Championship or a team that has no ambition apart from staying in a league.

Man City wont take a punt on a manager that is apparently still learning (despite the fact that Rodgers has been coaching for nearly 20 years).

Obviously they won't, highly unlikely imo. Ancelotti will be available soon and they would be stupid not to appoint him.
