Simple in my opinion.
Last season was still a new team under a new coach with a new philosophy.
Brendan knew how he wanted to play but it took time for the players to pick up on how to play that game.
Anyway, this season (from my point of view) Brendan has had a post divorce breakdown and that was the real reason for our poor start. He wasn't paying attention, kept making similar mistakes.
As for Coutinho, got to disagree. Even early on he was one of our brightest without anyone playing in front of him for him to pass to. Now he's got Raheem, Dani ect moving so he has options. He's a very good team player is little Phil.

Everything spot on today. Admit that I was worried when Toure came on for Moreno and thought we would drop off and invite them in but all put in a great shift, Brendan played it brilliantly after the poor tactical game midweek and we got the deserved points.

lovren was great with southampton, i dont think we have seen him at potential at liverpool. i agree about sakho, can be good but can also be headless. actually kinda skittles like.

Yeah, boning a younger hotter gal is great but think about the stress divorce plays on someone. Basically the break up of a family and I don't know about you but he didn't seem like the same Rodgers to me. Seemed like he wasn't concentrating, mind was elsewhere.
This 3 at the back isn't the reason for our turn around, Rodgers' mentality is.
Start of season we had no movement and lacked a proper plan. He just sent the players out on name and let them play and it didn't work. Now, he's back, he's in their ear and telling them they need to close down, he's picking better lineups based on merit rather than reputation and setting up a proper system. The 352 is a minor factor in our turn around and has only been used as a scapegoat for Brendan's mental state. He tried it, it worked and now he's back and we are getting results and putting in proper performances.
