Aquilani has vision and creativity and we desperately need that in the side. We're Liverpool - pass and move! This is what this lad brings us. I think in the hole behind the striker is a great role for him and I'd love to see what he'd be like in behind Torres making his runs, think it would be fantastic. FOr me it makes more sense for him to play there and let Gerrard play in his orthodox central midfield role beside Masch or Lucas. I think he do for us what Aimer did for Rafa's Valencia.

he's not aggressive enough for gerrards role or the PL. opposition teams would kick him into the stand.

i think he has been good in a couple of games. but what can we demand? he often gets 10-15 minutes, and if he starts a game then it takes a month before he's in the line-up again.

im far from pleased with his season but in all honesty we can't demand more. he's been injured, then when fit he never gets a game. how is he supposed to get into the tempo of the pl? it's worth giving him one more season.

Actually I would prefer Benny in the hole instead of Aqui.

Aqui can hone his trade in the middle of the park. His distribution from deep would be what we need more at this moment in time. No point him playing in the hole when there's no service from the middle!

Think if you look at games he's started, we won the majority. Injuries, viruses and our poor season has more to do with it than his ability. A lot of players take time to settle. Look at Malouda at Chelsea, awful first year, great player now. Sometimes it takes time to settle. Aqua has the ability to be top player for us.

Yeah I agree, Aqua has the potential to be an excellent player for us when he's settled into the Premiership. He speeds up our game because he moves the ball quickly when in possession and should be playing instead of Lucas.

There is a long list of foreign players who have been terrible first season, Henry, Pires, Malouda etc, He does lack physically but look at the Arsenal team, hardy a team of physical giants.

The player we really need to build up is Ngog because he needs to be a lot stronger if he is going to make the grade.

I think he will start thursday, cos with rafa the usual plan when we play in europe is try a draw or steal a goal away from home, when teams come to anfield, we attack them

I think Aquilani will start, babel too. I think kuyt is out of thurdays game.

ngog does get knocked off the ball far to easily and needs to hit the gym in the summer
