This guy seems to be able to do the job when given a chance.
His movement is good. His ideas are good. His 2 assists prove it today. And his defence splitting pass to maxi for the 3rd goal was of the highest quality. If he manages to adapt to the physical aspect of the game here, I have a feeling he'll do really well. At least he's much more positive than Lucas.
Now the key question - will rafa give him another consecutive game?

I will be very annoyed if he doesn't start on Thursday,He adds the bit of creativity and forward thinking thats lacking when Lucas and Masch play together,him and Gerrard can swap roles throughout the game.

he won't start against atletico, we all know it. there's no reason to keep on the bench, especially after 3 assists today but im sure we'll see masch-lucas in the middle.

as you know boys i respectfully, but totally disagree. he's not man enough for the PL. doesnt make enough of an impact for me, and cant seem to stay on his feet.

give him a run of games instead of one start in every 10 games. how do people expect him to come into the pl tempo if he never gets a chance?
he's already showed more than lucas has done in 3 years here.

wouldnt be hard.
im tired of looking for a morsal of talent in our players. desperately hoping they will go from frog to princes. someone puts to or three passes togther, all of a sudden were diving on the glimmer of hope.
i think its time to face the reality that 70%-80% of our squad is not good enough. its bleak, but its true.

i agree. but aqui is far from the biggest problem. i would get rid of lucas, kuyt and a couple more.
but at least aqui can play some ball, the other two i mentioned lacks the pace and skill of a professional footballers.
i would keep reina, johnson, agger, carra, masch, aqui, stevie, nando, maxi.
don't care what happens to the rest.

Riera,lucas,kuyt,ngog,skrtel,el zhar,insua,degen,nick can go but the rest are ok for me.

maxi gets better and better, but he's given the chance to start game after game in the league. something aqui hasn't been given the chance to do...
