Why do some of you pretend fans are Man Utd supporters whenever they say anything negative, pretty pathetic to be honest, have been a LFC supporter for nearly 30 years, not that I need to justify myself, keep pretending we are playing like champions, fact is we were extremely lucky today.

people who do that are afraid to look at the negatives, they don't want to face some realities and so dismiss those who do.

i love it that some 'fans' on here hate it so much when we win! Well Ben some of them are trying to get over yesterday's disaster. Some only comment when we lose to try and prove they were right. Quite sad really! kills them that we won

A Liverpool fan of 30 years standing would be happy we won, not whingeing endlessly. No one has claimed we are playing like Champions, we are just happy we won. A hater will always have to hate.

I think most on here look at the negatives and take them in. But when certain posters constantly post what appear to be wind up posts it makes you question them. Maybe we weren't as good as faz proclaimed but we weren't as bad as spice said. Yes we got some luck but that's all part of it. Utd have been winning like that for years yet that's the sign if champions. We do it and it's nothing but luck.

Well there's always that faction on either end of the scale, ill definitely give you that. The thing about utd was, they did all season long, we cant just rock up for half of it.

yea i thought we were ok. we were very fortunate at either end of the first half. got a great goal and a yappy goal, but the rub of the green could have ben very different. a peno and perhaps migs off, justified or not, would have changed the landscape.
lovren was questionable. hendo is shaping in to a role but he'll never be a fantastic midfielder however id leave him there with the arm band for now. id never give it to skittles, his brain is on and off.
a good result in a tough ground against a good side. the second half of the season recovery is on, but this season is a salvage job no matter what happens and the pattern of slow starts will probably repeat into next season. Flames are you getting soft in your old age? Was that almost praise

Some people can only see negatives and it pains them to see or say anything positive. I find it odd and i'm not sure if their main goal is to be proven right or they just have a defeatist and almost self loathing attitude because its easier to accept defeat when you expect the worse! Both seem pretty weak!!
If the opposite had happened today and we were the home team and had lost then some on here would be saying that Southampton showed signs of being a very good team....resolute, clinical, gave few chances away.......the ingredients of a very professional away performance maybe?! It seems that can't be applied to us though,........just lucky!
