had we won against fulham and birmingham then we would have had every chance to finish 4th. but i can't see it happening now, too many results has to go our way...

we would if nobody else picks up points but i find that hard to believe but i do think we could top the villa

Players are looking like they know the 4th. place is gone, unfortunately. I thought Maxi, Gerrard, Aquilani played well today, good movement and passing in the second half. Babel just looks like he's about to fall asleep most of the time. Really can't see a future for him at Liverpool.

Gerrard's 2nd goal was fantastic. Maxi took his goal well and it was a good set up by aqua. I believe the 1st half was dire!

still....a win is a win and only 2 points behind 4th! Bring on chelski!
