It doesn't matter who his former club is, it's about how good he is. How well was Sturridge doing before we took a punt on him? I seem to recall his career going down the toilet at Chelsea.

I don't think either of them are good enough if we want top quality, we already have enough backup mediocre strikers, we should hunt higher up the food chain imo, as we can't rely on Sturridge because of his physical shortcomings.
