I can't remember a single player being given a week or two off for a holiday?

The possible down side of this experiment isn't to be seen until later this season or even further away, when other players start demanding the same treatment because they get home sick or whatever.

Poor group management from BR.

Might be good personal management for Sterling though.

Mourinho just did it a few weeks a go giving Willian and 2 other players. They were in a cup game.

Mourinho also gave some of his players holidays at Inter when they won the treble. I remember Sneijder being one of the players, he said it himself in one of the past bal'n dor ceremonies. Can't find the quotes but I can clearly remember it. All managers do it, you just don't hear about it.

Fair play.. honestly never Heard anything about players being given time away from the team Before. I guess if these breaks can be fitted in and around League cup games then it shouldn't cause much harm (providing it's not a semi / final) I would be pretty upset however if players were missing for League games that we Went on to lose - games that actually matter.

He has looked a lot sharper since, and even more so when he was in his natural position. He looked unplayable against the Hammers, especially when Sturridge came on. When gets the ball from a little deeper with room to pick up speed, he's pretty difficult to stop.

Fergie was ahead of his times in many ways, he also installed the PL's best and most advanced medical setup and reaped the benefits. In fairness to Rodgers he is pretty with it regards forward thinking on training, recovery and coaching methods as well.
