I think 99% of the human race wants to smack Costa, a pity really as he is a truly great player. The biggest WUM in the Premiership by far must still be Van P!sser at ManUre though. Has the same irritating traits, but is just sneaky. At least Costa is an honest tough guy.

There are an inordinate number of Dutch footballers who could be regarded as scumbags. We were lucky to sign one of their decent human beings in Dirk Kuyt!

I remember a certain Graeme souness and others when we were great I would think our team might benefit from such a player we are too nice not my opinion Aldo said as such on radio city the other week and he was dead right

I agree that as a team we are too "nice" or soft...which is why i like Skrtel and Lucas, they seem to have that slightly shorter fuse and are a bit tougher than the rest of our squad.

We need a strong physical and psychological presence in our squad...someone who the opposition will fear, knowing that if they take out our technically gifted players like Coutinho, they'll have someone getting revenge for it. We don't have that presence in our team at the moment, perhaps Skrtel and Gerrard but Stevie is leaving soon and Skrtel is a bit too rash.

We need a midfield enforcer, an Essien, Keane, Wanyama, Mascherano type player.

On another note, I was glad to see Markovic & Can not rising to the bait... Costa was targetting those two and both kept their composure and he didn't put them off their game - well done lads.
