He won't fix our problems but is much more the style of player to suit the system Rodgers plays than Mario or Lambert.

Maybe BR wants a mobile player to partner Balotelli, with Sturridge's injury problems maybe Origi could be a foil to hopefully try and get the best out of Balotelli.

The fun thing is that soon we'll have DS back too, and hence be flooded with forwards.
Where do we put all of them then?
DS, Borini, Origi, Lambert and Balotelli.
Are we going to play 2-2-4 or what?
Totally out of sync move this. What we need now is to get a top class forward in, and if that's not possible, then drop it in favour of a top class keeper or DM.
Origi will come here later. Let it stay that way now ffs. Firmly on the bench where they belong

To be honest though, why not bring Origi back early??? This season is shaot anyway, may as well play the lad into the team now with Danny - get the bedding in period in now and hopefully he can hit the ground running from off next season

What was the point of loaning him away n the first place? It was obvious that were going to have problems going forward after Suarez had left.
