Didn't Ancelloti win the league with them...? Has Mourinho won a European trophy with Chelsea? I admit he is a top top manager but i think Ancelloti is much better still.

I don't know really.
Last year he didn't have more/better strikers available than what we have atm.
He used Schürrle as a false N:o 9 and managed to get away with wins - a few times by simply parking the bus. Have you seen us parking the bus as we are struggling to produce goals? No didn't think so!
Then in his first summer window he signed Costa, Fabregas and Felipe Luis. On top of that he recalled Courtois from Atletico.
I would say he has spent his summer wondow a fair bit better than what we have done, and has taken Chelsea to the next level.

He was shiit at real madrid, the biggest club in the world. Ancelotti has won just about as many trophies, he's won just about everything Mourinho has, he's won more Champion's league trophies, and he's done it without making most of his former players and clubs hate him. He's also been the architect of great sides like his legendary Milan side, and he's been successful everywhere he's been. He also has never made a public disgrace out of himself like Jose has done, literally tweaking other managers noses and slapping them in the face, and often dragging his clubs though the mud with the media circus that follows him.
Real Madrid is the ultimate test for me, and Ancelotti bests him there handily. Not to mention the fact that he's one of only 2 other men to equal Bob Paisley's record of 3 European cups, and the man who won La Decima. And have you read the man's book on tactics? He's a genius, and capable of employing just about any system imaginable. He's a football philosopher, and Mourinho's a football mechanic. A damn good one, but not in the same class.

So,
was just interested in what your guys opinion is on the kid now? He is still young but has shown in the past few games what he brings to the game and what his strengths are. When he first started for us, people said he was rubbish and not worth his fee. Was just wondering whether opinions have changed?
Do you think we overpaid for him or do you think he has shown why he is so highly regarded? Personally, I think he could take the league by storm next season once he has a few more games under his belt and learns to be a bit more agressive in his approach.
Your thoughts? I liked him the first time i saw him in a red shirt, then he went a bit gaga and didn’t seem to know wtf he was doing! However he looks to have settled a bit, and is showing some good attributes. As I said when I first seen him, he looks most likely of all that ragbag of potentials, to be the one most likely to come good, but he aint there yet, so jury out atm.

This is his second season and he's on the upward swing. Ancelloti is a fantastic manager and you could very easily make a case for him being better than mourinho, but you could the other way around as well . There are very few managers that can hold a candle to mou, but carlo is one of them.

Again it's entirely plausible to suggest Ancelotti is better than Mou, but re: the part in bold. He won the league with them in record breaking fashion in his second season. He should be alongside sterling in a 442. Let him lead the line and see how it goes. I really like the kid but I just feel he is not playing a position that he excels at.
