Were you actually watching OUR game?

I wasn't granted as I was out in the wilds again, but the wireless commentary was more than enough to convince me that we were utter crap....yet again.


Not necessarily referring to this game but against Arsenal and Manure we outplayed them and didn't get all the points but this one we played rubbish but won it....our performances have improved in my opinion as opposed to the start of our season. Also on a positive is that we kept a clean sheet.

2 in the EPL when we were beated 0-3 by Manure, we then drew and won only just yesterday. Forget about fighting for the lead as last season, do you think we should be in the mid-table? Unless of course you would be satisfied with us being a mid-table team.

Far from satisfied with where we are but we should be where we are based on our earlier performances. Yes we lost to Manure but it's only 1 loss in our past 9 games in all comps and thats without our main striker missing 95% of the season. We've lost about 70% of our goals from last season too and I don't believe Balotelli was ever going to work on his own. There are some factors that have gone against us this season as opposed to last where almost everything went right for us apart from the final 3 games!
So whilst not jumping out of my skin I'm far from deflated but more optimistic about the second half of the season based on our more recent performances outside of last night.

Well Burnley escaped with a point from the Etihad, so beating them away isn't at all that bad.
